31% of US smartphone users would allow apps to track them if it meant avoiding any fees

According to a March 2021 AppsFlyer and MMA Global report 30% of US smartphone users say they would pay for subscriptions rather than allow their apps to track them. A nearly equal 31% say they would allow all apps to track them if it meant avoiding any fees.

1,500 US smartphone owners ages 13+ were surveyed during February 5-17, 2021. Respondents included 1,000 iPhone owners and 500 Android smartphone owners, and were balanced by age and gender.
